Review seller history, product options, sizing charts, materials, shipping estimates, and recent buyer feedback. Images can be edited or reused across different listings. When you have not personally tested an item, describe what the listing says rather than implying first-hand experience.
Demonstrate the decision
Show scale, fit, assembly, texture, or another detail a shopper cannot infer from a product photo. Mention a limitation as readily as a benefit. Honest context can reduce mismatched expectations and helps viewers decide whether the item is appropriate for them.
Keep links and disclosures accurate
Use the intended affiliate destination, select the correct source store, and check the destination from the published storefront. State clearly that a qualifying purchase may earn you or the platform a commission. Revisit links when listings disappear or change materially.
Set expectations about delivery
Shipping times and costs can vary widely by product, seller, and destination. Mention what the listing says about delivery and encourage viewers to check it for their own region. Clear expectations prevent frustrated comments and cancelled orders, both of which reduce the commissions you eventually receive.
Compare before you recommend
Similar-looking products are often sold by many sellers at different prices and quality levels. Compare a few listings, prefer sellers with consistent recent feedback, and explain why you chose the one you link. That comparison is useful content in its own right and shows viewers you did the work.
